Seek Him First
Lesson of the Day:
Not every moment with God is meant to be shared and that’s actually something really beautiful. Some moments are just between you and Him, like a quiet hug for your soul. Intimate. Sacred. Personal.
Lately, I’ve been so focused on my blog wanting to pour out godly messages and encouragement. That I started trying to force a word from Him. I sat down to write today, but something didn’t feel right. I felt disconnected. And that’s when God gently reminded me:
“Seek Me first.” Not the message. Not the content. Me.
If you’ve been desperately seeking a sign from God and all you hear is silence, don’t lose hope. Silence doesn’t mean absence. It could be His invitation for you to come closer, to listen deeper, and to just be still in His presence.
This may be your season to simply be with Him. No performance. No pressure. Just presence.
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." James 4:8
Keep reaching out. He sees you. And in the quiet moments, He is still speaking, just in a softer, more intimate way.
